Samuel Roy Prosser’s work explores the relationship between the moving object and its spatial surroundings. The work attempts to create a lively dialogue between the object, the space and the viewer. This makes us question the pre-conceived ideas of the ‘Gestalt’, by adding a sense of theatricality to a known geometric shape, through movement of the object forcing the viewer to readjust their surroundings with the invasion of the object upon the space.
